The other day our folders were in, and one was talking about what she was going to bring to the church potluck.
"Cherry Fluff," she said. And then she licked her lips and smiled, saying over and over how good (and easy) it was.
I asked for the recipe and this is what she said:
1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 can cherry pie filling 1 tub of Cool Whip
Easy as pie.
So I tried it, but I used blueberry pie filling instead. She was right -- super good. But, for someone watching calories like me, you don't even want to think of what's in it. You could probably cut out the SC milk to make it less rich, and save some calories. But, for a sweet treat or an easy potluck dish, it's a hit. I've seen other places list cream cheese and pineapple in their recipes, too. I'm sure there's all kinds of ways to experiment with it.

There is a fat free sweetened condensed milk, light or fat free whipped topping and lite pie filling; using those would knock out a lot of calories.

Okay....I laughed so hard when I read the title of this thread....and here is why...... Not long ago, I was discussing the different terms for flatulence with a lady here at the church. The topic came up because we were talking about what children call it....you know all of the "not so nice words" there are for that. Well, she told me that when her kids were little, they called it "fluff". So, when I saw the title of this, I could just imagine someone had eaten blueberry pie or cake or some other dessert and gotten a case of the "blueberry fluffs"!!!! I'm so sorry if that offended anyone, I just laughed so hard, I had to share!!!! It DOES sound delicious!

LOL @ Fluff. I was thinking, too, that there has to be sf versions of the ingredients as well, if you wanted to cut down on the sugar. It was like eating melted custard or ice cream. Very rich. But good.

I'm saving this one for when our blueberries get ripe. We have 6 plants and this is the 3rd year and they actually have berries on them this year. Probably not enough for freezing but might get one dessert out of them. Hopefully, next year we'll have some to put in the freezer. I have a blueberry dessert recipe that is scrumptious. I will try to remember to bring it and share it.
