I had an amazing rice salad at at BBQ a couple of weeks ago and would like to make something like it for Canada day.  Does anyone have a recipe? The one I ate had mandarin oranges and almonds, but I am open to hear what you have.

I have to tell you I don't think I have ever had rice salad. I have had potato salad, pasta salad, even bread salad (so I do love a starch salad!) but never rice salad. Please post your recipe as it sounds very interesting.

Yum.  I love rice anything but a rice salad does sound unusual.  I'd love to see a recipe for that too.

Sounds delicious! What kind of dressing did it have?  Was it a middle eastern-type salad?
