This is my mother in law's recipe. I make it all the time, my family loves it.

pkg of tortellini, cooked
brocolli
bacon
grated or crumbled cheddar cheese
ranch dressing
s & p to taste

Mix, add about half the bottle of Ranch dressing.  It is best made the night before so it's really cold, I usually have to add more dressing before I serve it as the pasta absorbs quite a bit.
Note: tortellini is not really a pasta I like, but I do quite enjoy this salad.
