My 70th birthday party

« on: March 30, 2011, 01:23:05 PM »

Summer's coming so I will post this recipe. I may have put it on before, not sure. We are having church in the park on April 17 and picnic and egg hunt, so I think I will make this. Church will furnish the hot dogs and buns but we are to bring the rest.

Frito Salad
2 C Mexican style whole kernel corn drained
2 C Cheddar cheese shredded
1 small jar chopped pimentos drained
1 C Miracle Whip
1 bunch green onions chopped
Combine all ingredients
Just before serving, add 1 bag Chili Cheese Fritos that have been crushed and stir.
UM UM GOOD!
This will make you "slap your pappy." It's sooooo good.

Just saw something on TV about Frito Salad and my DD had never heard of it. I told her one of the CS had posted the recipe before. Thanks Nina.

I made this to take to a friend's house on Easter for lunch and it was a big hit.  I'll be making this for potlucks soon I think.
