Ok, I am not the techiest of all secretaries, but I am usually not dense. Can someone please help me with getting my avatar/picture up. On COT I was able to upload one. If I am reading this correctly I have to post my picture on a website to link it? Ann, I know you are the computer guru, please walk me thru this if you can.  pray

Condi, I see you got a picture up here. Not the one from COT I see. Did you have a makeover after Matthew? lmbo

That is how I read it too. You could possibly link it to your own picture on your computer if you know how to put the url, but I do not think that is a good idea. On this site I think you are linking, not uploading the actual picture. I believe that uses bandwidth, which most sites do not want to happen.

I looked at the ones they provided (actors and musicians) and did not like any of them.

You should be able to upload your own avatar by saving a picture to your computer (or using one you already have) and uploading it to CSC.

Or you can upload it to another site and link it from there.

Member have to have have moved from the "Temp" position (7 posts) for that ability.

Can you give more specific instruction on how to upload to CSC? There is no browse button.

Ann, can you try now, using the instructions above? Do you see the button now?

There are some new avatars to choose from, as well. The ones we had before were pretty dreadful.

I'm here! Thanks for the help. I had not seen the upload information. I don't feel quite so inept.

You didn't have to change your pix, but it sure is nice to see that chubby baby boy! What are you feeding that kid? Lasagna? He is adorable. Sorry you aren't getting enough sleep. How is daycare going?

It is nice to see faces!  I'm going to have to post some more so that I can get my face up there too!

Condi, he is SO CUTE!  My "baby" will be 6 next week.  The time goes by too fast.

Yoo Hoo!

When I had 7 posts it allowed me to upload my picture, easy as pie!

Thanks for the instructions, and thanks, Ginny and Ann, for your persistence in asking the question.

OK, now I'm confused. I tried to upload my own picture and it doesn't give me the option.  I must be missing something somewhere.  Help!

Yes, I have the same problem. It only gives me an option to add my own picture from a url, but not from a file on my computer.

Actually, Ginny, I did have to change my pic. When the avatars changed, mine was one that was deleted. And, no, I'm not feeding him lasagna (yet!) Daycare is going okay, though Monday was really rough for me, since it was my first day without him here in the office. I can't believe he's already 7 weeks old. If any of you are on Facebook or Myspace, look me up. I've got even more pictures on there.
