My 70th birthday party

« on: January 24, 2012, 12:53:20 PM »

1 - 1/2 lbs ground beef, chicken, turkey or pork. (Your choice)
1 can Ro-tel tomatoes
1 can chopped tomatoes
1 can Ranch style beans
1 can cream corn
1 can whole kernel corn
1 med onion chopped
To taste - onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper and chili powder.
Brown the meat with the onion and drain. Add remaining ingredients and let simmer for 30 to 40 minutes. It can be made in the crock pot, just brown the meat first. It is really good. We serve it with rice or maccaroni on the side, corn chips, cheese, cornbread, crackers or whatever you like with soup.

sounds very good! Love that you serve it with macaroni!! That's my kind of meal!, but my family would think I was crazy if I had a side dish with this.  Just likely the cornbread (sorry Angie, mine probably has sugar in it) and a salad.

Sounds delicious! A good meal for tomorrow night, we'll eat at the church tonight.
