It takes me way too long to read this board, because I have to wait so long for the ad at the top to load. It will not let me scroll down far enough to see the post until it has completely loaded. Now and then it loads really fast, but most of the time it seems to take forever! Then I click on the link at the top to go back to the list of unread posts, and have to wait for the ad above the list, and then again when I choose a thread and click on the link, I have to wait again for THAT ad! It is very frustrating!  sad

I have this happen at home, where I have a really old computer.  Here at work, I got a new one (yay!) and ever since it was installed, the ads load super fast for me.

So, you're not alone.  Not sure what you can do about it, though.   uhh

No problem here or on my phone. Sorry you're having problems.

It does seem to be related to the condition of the computer. Anti-virus software can cause things to take longer to load, as well as the speed of your computer's processor and the amount of memory you have available. I have a newer PC laptop at home, a newer iPhone 5S, and a newer Mac desktop at work, and all three of them load the ad instantly when I open the page. Sounds like you need to defrag your computer, and possibly lower your security settings, and most likely upgrade your processor speed. I don't think there's any solution other than a faster computer sad

I have never had a problem and I've been to this site on 4 different computers.  I hope you can get the problem fixed - that would be really annoying.

It is a fairly new computer with lots of memory and a high clock speed. I tried defragging (it said it did not need it) and had it delete old things like temp files. Did not seem to help any.

Wow...that really is strange.  My computer is by no means 'new' and I have never had that problem.  That would really annoy me, too!

I hope you can find the problem soon.
